Other times, health problems, financial problems, life transitions, world problems, parenting problems, and even identity crises start causing visible dents in the marriage and family. Everything that happens within the family affects the family as a whole, as well as each individual within the family. And no two people are affected in the same ways. No matter how hard things have gotten, or how long things have been unstable, we can help.

Okanagan Family Counselling serves families and marriages in the Okanagan, Shuswap, Kootenays; we also serve families and marriages by video across BC, and throughout Canada. We believe that families are multi-dimensional and that all members of the family have value and the right to be heard, to be cared for, and to be given the opportunity for healing and growth.
We understand the importance of family, of healthy relationships within the family, and of honesty and transparency. We also understand that individuals within the marriage and family go through a lot of health, mental health and life experiences that can cause stress on a family and need some added support and counsel to come through to the other side. Healthy connections, healthy community, healthy communication, and healthy relationships are vital for a marriage and family to be healthy and whole. We value our clients and we take the time to understand why things are the way they are so that a plan of action moving forward, with strong accountability, can be followed.
